After a terrifying experience Rebecca Watson Clark can no longer write the violent suspense novels that made her wealthy and famous. In an effort to avoid Bobby and their failed marriage she moves to the small town of Raysburg where no one will find her. FBI Special Agent, Bobby Clark allows his life to spiral out of control after the traumatizing events he and his wife faced in the past year. He is unable to focus on his work or anything other than convincing Rebecca to come home. When a series of murders begin that involve Rebecca's latest children's book Bobby is desperate to locate her.
