An Amish Escape?

Ruth Miller has been looking forward to her Rumspringa for years, and the chance to experience some of the Englischer life. But when her first trip alone in the buggy ends in a serious accident, she discovers more of the outside world than she expected. She discovers Steven Joder, a kind and handsome boy who is also of the Plain Folk. But unlike Ruth, Steven plans to leave his Amish life behind. As Ruth and Steven spend time together, however, their feelings begin to grow. But Steven's ways are not Ruth's, and her parents do not approve of this strange boy. Nor do they want Ruth tempted by the Englischer ways, as she so clearly is. And so they forbid her from seeing him again, and end her rumspringa early. So as Ruth finds herself in love for the first time, she is also faced with her most difficult choice. To follow her love, must she leave her life behind?
