A cop's worst nightmare is being sent to prison with all the scumbags he put away. In a terrifying sequence of events, this nightmare comes true for twenty-seven-year-old NYC cop Ray Burnside. Fearful that he is going to expose their corruption, his buddies on the Tactical Team set him up. They frame him for one of the worst offenses a cop can be charged with; large-scale drug distribution, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of twenty years. Eight kilos of coke planted in the trunk of his car and the testimony of his old comrades are enough to put the young cop away for a very long time. Only, he isn't having it. Nietzche's famous quote, "That which does not kill us makes us stronger," is the perfect metaphor for Burnside's struggle to survive in a maximum security prison. If he can survive the assaults, the rapes, and the gangs, maybe he can find the time to plan an escape so he can seek revenge on those who put him away.....
