Amber's Way

A young woman and the horse she has just rescued from an approaching fire are caught up in a time-travel experiment gone wrong. In a future where civilization has descended into chaos, she falls in love and learns that her step-father, a United States Senator, is connected to an event which will bring about that collapse. Together, she and the man she has come to love, but not yet to trust seek to prevent the future they have seen. If they succeed, they will be separated in time. If they fail, they can remain together, and civilization will go up in smoke, But what secret is held by the beautiful mare, Amber, and what decision must the woman make in a place outside of time?
