Gregory starts researching the life of Brooke and becomes obsessed with her, which complicates his relationship with Sharon.
Gregory finds out that Brooke Ashley died in a fire, but that the causes of the fire were unknown.
As he looks into her mysterious death, strange things start happening to him. His house is ransacked, he gets warning messages telling him to quit his research on Brooke. He doesn't know who's threatening him. But he feels that Brooke is now part of his life, and for reasons he doesn't quite understand, he feels there is no turning back: He has to continue his search in spite of the danger.
