Almost Paradise

On a voyage of discovery to Sirius, the United States Starship Constellation meets a heavily damaged alien derelict. Boarding her, the crew is instantly transported to a mad world called Paradise, where they come face to face with their innermost fears and failures, all while trying to avoid capture by the mad rulers of Paradise, who want to send them to the Zenana to be flensed, their blood and tissue fed to the mantis nymphs in the Incunabula, in the belief the nymphs will, in time and with enough blood, be transformed into intelligent beings. They are assisted in their attempts to avoid capture by a small rectangle of filmy gauze named Ebo. The question on everyone's mind is, are we alive or dead?
