Almost Gone

…"HELP! HELP!" The figure at the end of the darkened tunnel screamed. A shadow in the dark. She was there but she wasn't. Sam ran as fast as he could. He had to reach her. Her pleas were the only thing guiding him. "HELP! HELP!" The voice cried again. Sam tried to shout back to assure her he was coming but no words would come. Instead, a slow rattled breath escaped him. Almost Gone is the second part of the Searching for Hope series. Sam is alone again as Ailsa follows her own path and he believes he has finally found a way to find his daughter but a new enemy looms on the horizon and also within himself. His dreams are haunted. His reality is haunted. He has been changed into something new and he is not the only one.
