All to the Southern Cause is the first book published by Lightnin' Ridge by an outside author. This is a compilation of short stories about Confederate soldiers based on the historically correct facts of their service to the South and their lives in the 1860's. The soldiers in this book were real men. Their stories are based on the known facts of their lives before, during and after the Civil War. Linda Cushman has taken the information provided by the descendants of the soldiers and woven a story about each man. The biographies are based on the actual events of his life and his service to the Confederate Army. Details of the battles and actions of each company were researched for accuracy.
