About This Book

Holidays aren’t immune to tragedy. This lesson is no stranger to the beautiful seaside town of Newport, Rhode Island. With Christmas rapidly approaching, Gail Hawkins, owner of the states only orphanage, (Hawkins House) is busy preparing a wonderful holiday for the children that she considers her own. With less than a week until Christmas Day, a terrible threat hangs over the Hawkins House and leaves Gail and her staff in fear of the orphan’s safety. Gail quickly realizes that having friends in the right places can arm you with the defense of the town’s local Law enforcement and its community members. Sometimes, knowing the right people isn’t enough and when children go missing from the orphanage, Gail enlists the aid of a man who she’s known for only one day and her seaside neighbors to help her eliminate the danger that threatens her Orphanage and it’s children. This rocky-coasted island is proud of its tight-knit community and consider themselves one big family. However, the citizens of Newport quickly learn that there is a bad seed among them. Read along with Gail as she faces the most horrific occurrence that Newport has ever seen. Betrayal, Love and Loss, Mystery and Suspense, Crime and Romance. This New England Island is weighed by anchors of many genres. Will tragedy sink them or can a strong small-town bond keep them afloat?
