The writer Jehoiakim Altland keeps seeing a Jewish lady in his dreams, in the dreams, she is telling him to go on a homecoming - Aliyah - to Eilat, but he can't think why. He recalls seeing the lady before, but for as much as he tries, he cannot recall where, or when he saw the lady. On his trip, he meets a fellow Jewish writer and falls in love, however there is a sad reason for his trip as he finds out not long after the plane lands at Tel Aviv.
