Alfie the Missing Dog

This Children's book Alfie The Missing Dog, is a fiction book with sadness, laughter and an adventure about a family that rescues a puppy, from the animal shelter. The family adopts Alfie and the dog brings them all kinds of joy and then one day a telephone man working on the lines, had left the door opened by mistake. Alfie decided to go outside, to see what the world looked like because he'd not seen to much of it. He decided to go on an adventure and that is how he becomes Alfie The Missing Dog. While Alfie was gone the little boy Jody cried his eyes out, looking out the window each day, hoping to see Alfie return home soon. Alfie touches the hearts of animal lovers in this book. I have personally owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, hamsters, frogs myself. I know the joy that they bring when they become a part of the family. My own personal loss as a child has also inspired me to write a book like this. I hope to let people know how quickly animals can be gone from us. Hug and love your animals for every minute that you have them on earth to love. Nobody will ever regret it because animals give so much love back to us. I miss my animals and one day I hope to see them again beyond this earth.
