Against All Odds

As an editorial cartoonist on a big St. Louis newspaper, Jennifer Aldrich made her living pointing up the follies and weaknesses of the nation's politicians. But all her scorn for politicians deserted her when she met Congressman Ben Trostel. Here was the man she had been waiting for--friend, companion, lover--and she could not resist the promise of ecstasy she found in his arms. But when Ben announced he was running for the Senate, Jennifer's boss made it all too clear that political cartoonists and candidates of national importance just didn't mix. It was time for Jennifer to choose which she wanted more-- her job or Ben....
