World War III begins and ends on December 25, 2015. Missiles launched against the free world are met with instant retaliation, creating a chain reaction that results in a cataclysmic nuclear holocaust. Earth is decimated! In the aftermath, discovering edible nourishment elevates Andrew Weidel to become the undisputed leader of the few survivors. Thus begins the Weidel Right of Reign that continues unchallenged throughout centuries. In 2699, Lionel Weidel, a hermaphrodite and psychopathic tyrant, ascends to power. To save the future, Artimus, Lionel’s enslaved and tormented companion, secretly transports the Sentient Empath Zayin to the past with an edict to seek out and destroy the Weidel lineage. Materializing on a train in 1962, Zayin is drawn into the turmoil surrounding handsome Cobby Mason, who is returning from prison intent on his own deadly mission. Captivated by the strange feelings he arouses in her, Zayin follows Cobby into the dangers of kidnapping, betrayal, and murder.
