AFTER THE BLOOD: ARCHANGEL is a story that follows Detective Jake Castillo, a New York City Homicide Detective haunted by the demons of his troubled past. With a marriage that is falling apart and at odds with his sister over the circumstances under which their criminal father was killed, the detective finds his life in a state of turmoil.In the midst of his personal chaos, Jake and his partner are assigned to investigate a string of brutal murders in the city in which the killer has left behind a single identifying clue - a prayer card of Saint Michael, the archangel. As Jake delves deeper into the case, he finds that the killer's 'victims' are not all that they appear to be and is forced to reexamine his own code of justice as he attempts to stop the Archangel from killing again.
