Halley looks at the comet Soho nightly. But she knows it's not here to stay. She knows that Soho, like Robert, will soon disappear, leaving her with nothing but grief and an empty sky. So she moves with it: from London she follows Soho to southern skies, and arrives in New Zealand. Claudia is already there, but she's not moving. She's frozen in her own sense of loss. Part tragedy queen, part clown, she is grieving for something she can't even identify. Can Halley help her to unravel her secret?
