Adrift

In the last days of the 21st century, as the dwindling population of Earth struggles to survive, one final act of terrorism destroys the human home-world, sending an unprepared moon colony on an intergalactic journey into the far depths of space. Adrift is the story of commander Jone Connit of the Final Earth Republic, and her crew. Strong-willed and even-tempered, Jone is charged with creating a self-sustaining base that would allow the meager population of a flooded and failing Earth to escape the solar system. She never thought they'd be flung out of orbit to travel unknown light-years from home. With the help of her husband, scientist Bjorn Connit, a few hundred survivors, and unexpected alien allies, will they find a safe haven to rebuild ... or are they doomed by dangers they can't begin to suspect?
