Gregory Kent, owner of the Turkey Haven restaurants, was too self-assured, too handsome, for his own good. And he made cookbook author Martha Graves an offer that seemed too good to be true. He wanted her to become publicity spokesperson for his new chain of colonial-style restaurants. It was a far cry from her genteel life in Alexandria, Virginia, but Martha reluctantly agreed, swept away by Greg's seductive charms. By the time she had to face the cameras and play a sexy role in his gimmicky advertising, Martha was desperately in love. Business and pleasure were, it seemed, a combustible mix.
