Semi-retired businessman, Marshal Henry, meets monthly with a group of four young fathers as sort of mentor. One of these men tells him about his teenage son having to forfeit a key sporting match. His opponent was a girl which left him with a choice of remaining true to his upbringing-never touch a girl inappropriately-or throw all that out the door for the sake of winning. He chose the former, lost the match, was forced off the team, and endured daily harassment from all levels of the school forcing the family to seek other educational alternatives. The Professor (as Marshal is affectionately called by those he mentors), then takes the opportunity to introduce this small group to the long-established reality of authentic manhood....a reality that he believes is under siege and in danger of being eradicated.
