Adam and Sheila

When the very young, sheltered, innocent but obdurate Lady Sheila Stanton weds the older, sophisticated and worldly Adam Hamilton, Viscount Rothspur, heir to an earldom, the pair have a difficult start.

Adam, headstrong and inflexible, expects more from his bride than she is willing to give.

Sheila, determined to show her maturity, vows to teach her obstinate husband a few things about sensitivity and compromise.

Finally reaching an understanding, the pair begin to mend their relationship.
