Adalin Meddling with Time

Adalin is quickly rising to the top of her class in the most advanced school in human history when her life is interrupted by several time traveling deities. Forced to live through the pasts and futures of different universes, Adalin strives to understand the meaning behind it all. It soon becomes obvious that she must choose between one of two paths. But why does the Lady Superior, the queen of all deities, bother to put Adalin through such experiences? Why is it so important for Adalin to see the consequences of her choices before making them? Furthermore, why are others trying to intervene if the decision is hers to make?
