Across The Distance

Ardon has searched the galaxy for a woman to share his life with, all to no avail. He decides he's not searching the wrong place, but the wrong time. A collector of ancient tomes, Ardon is fascinated with the 50's era. He decides to tweak his transporter to allow him to travel back in time. When Ardon arrives, he is shocked to discover he has overshot his destination by about 400 years. While there, he rescues Lena, a woman being persecuted as a witch, and the pair escapes together. After three tantalizing nights spent in each other's arms, Ardon is in love and wants to return with Lena to the future. Will Lena agree to his plan, and if so, how will she fit in with his world?
