Across Captive Seas

Abducted by the dashing Scott Harrington, Angela Carlyle, now a beautiful widow, is at first enraged by his arrogance. But his obsessive passion soon kindles an answering flame in her heart, and she is transformed from unwilling mistress to adoring wife and mother. Her happiness is short lived, however, for a former lover has pursued her and, consumed by jealousy, engineers an elaborate hoax to convince Angela that Scott is dead. Angela learns the truth at last -- but too late to prevent Scott's being transported to Australia. Now her only desire is to wreak revenge on the man who had so cruelly deceived her, and to seek out Scott wherever he may be.
