Accepting the Bear

Malkum Nitá is a bear shifter and one of two Dásreach enforcers in the Thirteen. Due to a tortured past, Malkum never wanted a mate, but he must accept it for the Thirteen to be the next Council. However, with no one having found their mates, it was looking like Malkum's bachelorhood was safe. That is until, Kai's mate walked into Great Spirit Tattoo with her friends. Rogue inflamed his passion from the moment she touched his tattoo and tamed the ferocious bear.

Rogue Phenix had enough of changing for other people. Life had shown her many things and she wasn't going to chase her dreams; she was going to make them happen. And, thanks to her Book Worm friends she had found the relationships she had never had, but it's not enough, she wants it all – her friends, a family… and a man. But, just when she thinks she's found her destiny, her man runs scared.

Unbeknownst to the Thirteen a darkness is working against them. Working in the shadows and using human pawns, the darkness has set its sights on Rogue and her friends.
