Absconder

Simone Morgan's husband Cliff works for the Robertson firm, but his heart is not really in it. He thinks his wife will understand when he finally tells her he's not cut out for a job that involves extreme violence on a regular basis. He is taken aback when she reacts by telling him that he's never been much of a man, and the reason she married him was certainly not love. She reveals that she was wanted in Jamaica for a series of murders, and he was her way out of trouble.He is stunned and doesn't know what to make of his wife who is clearly a stranger to him. When their daughter Lexy sees her mum's change of attitude, and she is given a choice to either stand beside her or become her enemy, she knows that the woman who has given birth to her is extremely dangerous. It's obvious that she has no loyalty towards friends or family, and Lexy agrees to support her. She too decides to leave her loyalties behind, and is going to stay close to her mum, whilst plotting her destruction.
