Above the Law of Averages

The third installment of Ditch McGillicuddy's exploits finds Ditch firmly grounded and enjoying a serene and uneventful life with his girl, Abby. He's sold his land for a tidy profit and is ready to live the good life, never suspecting that the all-American girl he's fallen for has some unfortunate ties to the mafia and is part of the Witness Protection Program. Not one to trust government types, Ditch takes it upon himself, in a frenzied and unbalanced way, to protect Abby. As his obsession grows, Ditch builds a fortress of inventive booby traps and sadistic weapons to thwart any and all threats to the woman he loves. His world shrinks to an isolated farm where he spends his time coming up with more and more creative ways to kill the bad guys should they ever show up. Only his closest friends know of his plans, including Sunny, the one girl who got away. Above the Law of Averages is another wild ride, this one in the mind of a man who becomes consumed and somewhat unhinged, all the while keeping his sense of humor and increasingly warped perception of right and wrong.
