A Yarn of Some Truth

This is a story of two friends, one was brilliant, the other adventurous. They seemed like an odd couple of boys to become the best of friends. Each needed the other to complete themselves. Mike was always interested in topics the other boys weren't. At times at school he was made fun of as a geek. Mike would sit out at recesses and look into the air, sometimes he would study the bugs on the ground. He was just different. On the other hand, Roy played with the other boys, usually soccer or sometimes softball. He always noticed Mike sitting out in the playground. He felt sorry for him. One day he came up to Mike. Some kids were making fun of him and Roy threatened them and away they went. Roy and Mike began to speak to each other after that and never stopped. Mike told Roy of matters he never heard before like, looking through a telescope and microscope and seeing a whole other world. One day Mike and Roy became separated during a terrible storm.
