A Wing and a Prayer

When a small oil spill is reported off the coast of Sparrow Island, Abby is called in to rescue the injured birds in the area. But as she works to rehabilitate the area's wildlife, the suspicious circumstances surrounding the spill motivate her to search for the source of the deadly accident. A generous donation to the cleanup fund leads to questions no one wants to answer, and a stolen boat, an anonymous message and a perilous fire make it clear that someone doesn't want Abby to find out what really happened. Meanwhile, Mary spearheads a community blood drive, and the campaign to save lives ends up changing a few in the process. As the truth slowly comes to light, they all begin to realize that it is everyone's responsibility to take care of God's creatures.
