A Valley in Africa

A young doctor from New York State accepts a two year assignment in Africa, to help a friend and to get over his own divorce
Through the course of the project his father, a retired academic from a liberal arts college in Ohio, befriends a revolutionary who spent his life in exile during the apartheid regime.
Their unlikely friendship shows how lives coincide in strange ways, no matter where and when that might be.
This is an intriguing tale of two different countries, two different men, but a common purpose to search for the truth.
