A Tyrant Amongst the Kingdoms

I hadn’t meant for King Wolfgang to die. He was a father figure to me, and I owed him much. But, the citizens of Andleburg were angry, and in my name he was slain.
The Tyrant Trevor was responsible for the king’s death, for he had led the kingdom in a revolution against the crown. He had used my name as the fuel to their fire, but I was just a pawn in his game, for if it hadn’t been fought in my name, he would have used something else to beguile the people.
To my relief, Princess Alashia and Princess Stephanie escaped from Trevor and were not killed. They hid underneath the castle until I came and rescued them. Our lives forever changed.
