Regan Amerson's quiet and stable life has suddenly become a roller coaster ride. After making the emotional decision for her and her mother to sell their family home, Regan is doing her best to come to grips with it. When her mother wins a home makeover/renovation from a reality television show, Regan is furious. Not only is she losing her beloved home, but some cheesy reality show contractor wants to tear it apart first?


Sawyer Bennett is a little more than disillusioned with his stint hosting "The Bennett Project". He's ready to branch out on his own - sans television crew - and get back to the art of custom carpentry. Unfortunately his father and his producer have suddenly come up with a new angle to make the show better than ever. How? Add some good old fashioned family drama. Sawyer is against it, especially after meeting Regan Amerson and her mother. He's drawn to Regan immediately but when she makes it clear that she wants nothing to do with him or his home renovation, Sawyer is determined to win her over on both counts.


While Regan and Sawyer struggle with keeping their relationship from becoming reality TV fodder, there is enough distraction on the set that has them each wondering what they've gotten themselves into.
