For over nineteen years James Cody has hunted for the person or persons who betrayed him and had six good men murdered in the jungles of southeast Asia. Once again death has reached out and touched someone he loves. Someone in his family has been attacked and one has died. Now James Cody will not stop until the killers are found or until he is dead. From Lockerbie, Scotland, and the site of the wreckage of Pan Am Flight 103 to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and from there to France, James Cody along with his brother David Cody and Henry Lucas follow a trail of blood that leads to a shootout in a hotel room in Marseilles amid a path of dead bodies. The chase leads to an ambush in Madrid where James Cody almost loses his life but finds unlikely allies. The trail continues to St. Thomas in the Caribbean and finally to a final confrontation high in the Andes Mountains in Peru.
