About This Book

The saga continues when Robert the Bruce and John, the Red, Comyn entangle for a final time, an event that leads to the Bruce claiming the Throne of Scotland. But it is a move that costs the new King dearly, with the subsequent loss of family and supporters, as Edward of England declares the coronation an act of treason, and deals harshly with all who were involved.William Wallace continues his aggression toward English forces with success at the Battle of Stirling Bridge, but is defeated in the Battle of Falkirk when betrayed by prominent Scottish Nobles. It is a move that causes Wallace to renounce Guardianship of Scotland, and from there he finds succor in the arms of Morag Seton, and sires two children by her; a relationship brought to an end by the death of Wallace. Morag and her children retire to the forest to be with Brutus and the wolves.David Seton takes a path that has him visit the land of the Anasazi on a quest to deliver Crystal Skulls that originally belonged to the Ancient Mayan Civilization; it becomes a much extended journey. But on his return, he marries Christina Bruce, only to lose her to the Tower of London. This brings him to reunite with Robert the Bruce, until the day of David's ultimate sacrifice, where with the use of the Resurrection Scarab, he saves the King from certain death.
