A Time for Nicky

Nicole Turner lives in a dysfunctional family. A verbally abusive mother and an angry father, who drinks too much and stays away too often, cause pain and depression for her. A loving sister and a Christian friend are her pluses in life. After graduation from high school, Nicky delays nursing school as she is needed at home. Her mother demands her care as she suffers from health problems. Then her sister returns to work leaving her two young daughters in Nicky's care. They bring her joy as she helps to raise them. Tragedy strikes and Nicky must step in once again to help the family. Though Nicky has opportunities for romance, life's events supersede her own desires and she learns to set aside her disappointments as she puts her faith in God, accepting the circumstances of her life. Will she eventually find time for herself? Will a man enter her life to fulfill her own desire for a family?
