A Temporary Lover

Sophie Shaw had taken pride and pleasure in building up a veterinary practice with her husband Michael and his partner, but Michael's death had left a void in her life. It seemed none of the applicants for the practice was right - until Luke Jordan pointed out, she was the problem. Once Luke began work, Sophie had to admit he was an excellent vet, but he also raised a frisson in her that had nothing to do with work.
