A Tangled Web of Lies

Melanie Vargas, living in Chicago and mother of three, believes nothing is more important than family and has lived with a lie for years. She returns to D.C. to chair a conference and recognizes the Presidential nominee for Federal Reserve Board Chairman as the man who raped her years ago. The nominee, Wyatt Young, knows that knowledge of the rape will destroy his career and marriage. A powerful organization, which deals in extortion and involving national leaders, learns of a connection between Melanie and Young and sets in motion events which endangers lives and threatens to expose lomg-held secrets. The question is: who deserves a second chance and at what cost?
