A Summons to Perdition

Retired sheriff's detective J.D. Welch receives an urgent request from prominent criminal defense investigator Mike Woleski. Woleski wants to hire the former cop to locate Mike's missing granddaughter, Patty Curtis. Patty has disappeared with her Egyptian lover, who is one of a seven-member terrorist cell that's been dispatched on a jihad mission which will kill hundreds of Americans.

For her own ambitious reasons, Patty's mother doesn't want the police involved in the search for her daughter.

Welch and his former partner, Joe Bryerson, set out across the country to find the missing girl. Has she been kidnapped? Is she alive or dead? Will the sleuths survive the mission?
