A Scarlet Dawn

It was a violently stormy night when Paul Jaeger heard the airplane overhead, its motor missing and sputtering as it headed directly towards the rain-hidden bluffs of Dogwood Mountain, and when the noise suddenly stopped he knew the worst had happened. What he did not even suspect, though, was that his entire future would be affected by what he found when he got up there looking for survivors of the plane crash. Cynthia's husband was dead in the wreckage, but Cynthia had survived, and she was more of a woman that Paul had ever encountered.
