A Requiem for Caelus

When the young Lo'thar Mistshrouder of the Fikir Clan saved the even younger Lorelei Heartstealer of the Kar clan, all hailed it as the day when the two clans could end their ages-old war and usher in an era of peace and harmony. It was simple dumb-luck that Caelus was chosen at that time to be the next planet Suppressed by the mighty Va'Shan Empire. Lorelei was taken to serve in the pleasure Sanctum of Kral, leader of the Va'Shan. Lo'thar, together with Lorelei's best friend Maegil and the Dragor Jo'tal, are all that is left behind and they quickly discover that their magical abilities are no match for the advanced weapons arrayed against them.
