A Real Southern Lady

The Bobbie Lamont Series continues in this newest addition. It was August of 1990 and Bobbie Lamont had arrived in New York City. She is ready to begin her new job as an associate editor at Black Springs Press and wants her past behind her. She soon realizes even though she has moved a thousand miles away from her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, she can't escape her past or her memories. She struggles to get over losing Miller, the young man she met and fell in love with only a few months before. She spends the next five years working hard, rising through the ranks of Black Springs Press and bouncing from one relationship to another, hoping she will find love again. Her only sources of happiness are letters she receives from her best friend, Billie Carver, who lives in Boston, Massachusetts, her intense friendship with her roommate/co-worker Natalie Adams, and her unique relationship with best-selling author Henry Young.
