A Promise to Keep

Maggie and Jeremiah were the best of friends, growing up on the same gravel road in the same sleepy town. As kids, they thought they knew exactly how their lives would go but as they near their high school graduations, they realize life often has plans of its own. Is it possible for promises to be kept as they seem to be pulled in different directions? Maggie has always aimed to please her parents and walked down the path her parents paved for her. Now she wants to pursue her own dreams against her parent's wishes, if she dares. Jeremiah is the son of the town drunk and seems fated to follow his father's footsteps.
