As winter approaches Katy and Tom discover a baby hedgehog in their garden. Deciding to rescue it they hide it under the bed in Katy's bedrooms. Things initially go wrong when their dog Max senses its presence and tries to get into the bedroom at every opportunity. Things really blow up when after a few days it escapes its hiding place. Chaos ensues and the children find themselves in deep trouble!
