About This Book

When Professor Ralph Tomthwaite, part-time teacher in the philosophies, and full-time employee in a bank is forced to witness the murder of a friend, of course he wants to report what he's seen to the police, only it seems as if the police are somehow involved. So what does he do? The accountant in him suggests he needs more facts. The idealist, though, wants justice. However, what they both want is revenge, the problem being what he saw was not quite as simple as it seemed. Moreover, those involved are anything but mere criminals.

Ralph has to turn his sharp mind to solving several questions. First, where do they come from? Second, who are they? Third, whom do they work for? Fourth, what is the extent to their operations? Unfortunately, the answers are surprising, thought-provoking and deadly in their complexity. This isn't just a gang. Ralph declared war on a giant.
