A Narrow Escape

Meet Grace. She moves west to become a mail order bride, when her parents are forced to give up their farm due to ill health. They don't have room for her in their tiny new home.

Joshua is part of a close-knit family in Wyoming. His mother and sister take to Grace right away. His twin brother James, not so much. Grace and Joshua hit it off right away and seem made for each other, which irritates James even more.

When Grace discovers she is pregnant only a few months after they marry, Joshua decides to take her on the honeymoon they never had. He arranges to spend a few days in Pine Crest, where Grace can also see a doctor.

They have a wonderful time, but on their way home, a storm blows in, threatening their lives.
