Life for twenty seven year old Ebonique Carter has been seemingly hard from birth. She was raised by a single mother, Sheila Carter and had no idea who her father was. Sheila was killed by a stray bullet on Thanksgiving day. Normally when someone dies, the family’s bond grows stronger but for Ebonique and her siblings, it died with their mom.
