A Long Way Home

When a wale is injured off the coast of Orcas Island, everyone is in a frenzy. Her calf has been missing since the accident, and no one seems to know where she went. Will the charismatic oceanographer who takes up the cause help them find the missing calf, or will his showmanship only lead to more trouble? A tour boat with a damaged hull, some grump ship captains and a series of strange business deals add to Abby's suspicions. Meanwhile, a homing pigeon carrying an important secret message is waylaid. Can Abby, with a little help from her sidekick Bobby, break the code? Will she help all who've strayed off-course find their way home?
