A Girl on a Mission

When a beloved father and a member of a criminal organization goes missing, his daughter takes action and goes on a cross-country road trip to find him. Enter Val Entienne, a.k.a. Valentine, a nineteen-year-old girl armed with a pair of guns and a mission: to find her father alive or avenge his death. Val claims she's only out for herself, but she soon becomes an unwilling hero in the eyes of the people she encounters on her way to California . . . including a fourteen-year-old orphan named Melinda.
