A Game of Love

Annabel Smith needed to get away, to take stock of her life. But her holiday got off to a dismal start when a moment of kindness left her stranded, robbed of her car and all her belongings in southern France. Handsome Frenchman, Alain Ducret, comes to her rescue. When she learns he is the famous ex tennis player with a playboy reputation, she is wary of accepting his hospitality but she soon finds herself in his home in Monte Carlo. Annabel fights a losing battle to resist falling for Alain's legendary charm and, when it is far too late to save her broken heart, she discovers it has been nothing but a game to him. Fleeing back to England, she never expects to see Alain again.
