A Friendly Arrangement

Wealthy hotelier Alexander Steel has never wanted to get married or have children. But when his grandfather dies and leaves a clause in his will stating that Alex must marry within seven days, or else forfeit his entire â€" and substantial â€" inheritance, including the chain of hotels and resorts their family has owned and run for several generations, Alex has no choice but to comply, or lose everything. And so he enlists the help of his oldest friend, Samantha Jamieson. There’s just one catch, Sami is pregnant. Though less than thrilled by the prospect of fatherhood, Alex is determined to retain his family’s legacy, so he offers her a deal ; marry him for one year, and when her child is born he will give him or her his family’s name. Sami has always shared his aversion to marriage, but she wants to help him, so she agrees.
