A Flip of the Coin

In the destruction of a ruined city, Val finds herself with a lion companion named Vic who is her assistant and protector. The world seems to have ended with how dark and cold everything is. Battles can be fought that can grant the winner the memories of their foe and their past, and new powers to their assistant. Whether or not Val can find out what's happening and survive is a flip of the coin.
