About This Book

Come along as we travel on a spoofy, romantic romp from the far out Deovolante Galaxy to the Milky Way with mismatched mission commanders, Will and Vita, who are trying to save renegade planet Earth from itself. Will, a warrior king, likes to be in charge but so does Vita, queen of info tech for Deovolante, making for a rocky start to the mission. Our commanders are charged with calming the endless wars on planet Earth. But the well-intentioned mission is plagued with a series of untoward events that threaten to destroy it. In addition, there's the reproducing problem. Vita is a clone and needs to clone her replacement but the cloning mechanism doesn't work. Will needs a queen and an heir, and his co-commander looks promising but is a bit bristly. Should he introduce romance into their relationship? Complicating matters is Will's brother, who thinks he should have Vita for his mate and tries to kidnap her. The Oversee, ruling command of Deovolante, sends in the Supreme Initiates, a super race of humans, to help with the mission problems, but they seem to have an agenda of their own, which makes Will suspect that this is not a simple rescue mission. By the time they arrive in orbit around Earth things seem to be going better until they find out that the newly perfected recycle vacuum process hasn't done the job of calming the wars. A crew descends to planet Earth to fix the malfunction, but things go haywire again. Through it all, Will and Vita have to decide if they will team up to bring a successful conclusion to the mission and in the process work out their feelings for each other.
